Prosecutor Returns Case File with Richard Lee to Kartika Putri: What is Still Incomplete

Kartika Putri also received information from the Jakarta Prosecutor's Office that her case file has been returned to the Jakarta Metro Police investigator. The prosecutor deemed that the file was incomplete and therefore not yet suitable for trial.

1. Transferred to the Prosecutor's Office

"The file has been transferred to the prosecutor's office, we just have to wait. But the wait is very long," said Kartika Putri when met at the Jakarta High Prosecutor's Office, South Jakarta, on Thursday (23/6).

"This is related to one deficiency in the expert testimony and there are several things that the investigators need to complete," added Brian Prenada as the legal representative in the same occasion.

2. Not the First Time the File is Returned

The explanation from the Jakarta Prosecutor's Office also confuses Kartika Putri because this is not the first time her file has been returned. Not only the report, but also the illegal Access case against Richard Lee has no clarity.

"I'm confused, what is still incomplete. He's already a suspect, but why is it dragging on," said the wife of Habib Usman bin Yahya.

3. Going to the Jakarta Metro Police

Therefore, after visiting the High Prosecutor's Office of DKI Jakarta, Kartika Putri and her lawyer will depart to the Metro Jaya Regional Police. The purpose is to inquire about what documents need to be completed.

"We will ask the investigator, whether there is anything missing from our statement. We don't want to have to keep going back and forth with the case documents. So that there is no uncertainty," said Kartika Putri's Legal Counsel.
