Prosecutor Reveals Nikita Mirzani's Malicious Intent Towards Reza Gladys, Started Since Asking for Embarrassment from Oky Pratama

The Public Prosecutor (JPU) explicitly revealed what they refer to as the beginning of malicious intent or mens rea from Nikita Mirzani in the alleged extortion case against doctor Reza Gladys. According to the prosecutor, it all started from a conversation where Nikita actively requested Reza Gladys's disgrace from Dr. Oky Pratama.

This fact was revealed in a reply hearing held at the South Jakarta District Court on Monday (20/10/2025). The prosecutor stated that this crucial moment occurred on October 15, 2024, long before any alleged request for money.

"Revealed and clearly visible is the mens rea or malicious intent of the defendant Nikita Mirzani, which began on October 15, 2024, when the defendant Nikita Mirzani asked witness Reza Gladys for her disgrace from witness Oky Pratama," said the prosecutor in the courtroom.

The prosecutor continued, this series of malicious intent then continued on November 3, 2024, when Nikita instructed Dr. Oky to contact Reza Gladys with the aim of obtaining a sum of money.

The peak occurred during a three-way phone conversation between Nikita, Dr. Oky, and Nikita's assistant, Ismail Marzuki, on November 13, 2024, which was then followed by specific directives on November 14, 2024.

As is known, Nikita Mirzani is now a defendant in the report by Reza Gladys regarding allegations of extortion and money laundering, with a sentence demand of 11 years in prison.

In her defense, Nikita's side attempted to shift the malicious intent onto another witness, namely Dr. Samira. However, the prosecutor firmly rejected that argument.

The prosecutor assessed that Nikita's side deliberately obscured the fact that it was Nikita herself who actively sought out Reza Gladys's faults.

"The defendant's legal counsel either forgot or deliberately overlooked or intentionally concealed the trial facts that the actions of the defendant Nikita Mirzani, which are clearly evident, brighter than a light, requested a sum of Rp5 billion with threats of defamation," the prosecutor asserted.
