The defense phase in the case involving Nikita Mirzani has finally arrived. This controversial artist is ready to face the next hearing in the case of alleged extortion and money laundering (TPPU) with the agenda of reading the defense note or plea.

Without holding back, Nikita has prepared 20 pages of defense that she personally compiled to be read at the South Jakarta District Court. Nikita, who is facing a heavy sentence of 11 years in prison, will read her entire defense note in front of the panel of judges.

"Her plea has already been prepared, just listen to it later," said Nikita to the media crew before the trial on Thursday (16/10/2025).

Although it seems thick, Nikita stated that the 20 pages are not too many. She promised to deliver her entire defense with deep emotion, hoping to touch the hearts of the judges and everyone present in the courtroom.

"It's not much, just twenty pages. I will read it myself with full tears of emotion," she said.

This mother of three has high hopes for this trial. She pleaded for the judges to see the facts revealed during the trial clearly and objectively. For her, a fair verdict is one based on evidence, not just the prosecutor's demands.

"Hopefully the verdict matches the facts of the trial, just the facts of the trial, that's all," concluded Nikita.

As is known, the Public Prosecutor (JPU) has charged Nikita Mirzani with an 11-year prison sentence and a fine of Rp 2 billion. This charge is based on layered accusations that ensnare her.

Nikita is charged with violating three articles at once, namely Article 27 B paragraph (2) and Article 45 paragraph (10) of the ITE Law, Article 368 of the Criminal Code regarding threats, as well as articles in the Money Laundering Crime Act (TPPU).
