Sentenced to 11 Years in Prison, Nikita Mirzani Feels Treated Unfairly

Nikita Mirzani reads out a defense note or plea regarding the case that ensnares her. Facing an 11-year prison sentence and a fine of Rp2 billion for alleged extortion and Money Laundering (TPPU), Nikita claims that the demands of the Public Prosecutor (JPU) are unfounded and based solely on personal sentiment.

The artist, commonly known as Nyai, openly accuses the prosecutor of not using logic in formulating the charges. According to her, the demands are filled with inconsistencies and legal manipulations that disregard the facts revealed during the trial. She feels treated very unfairly compared to other major cases.

In her plea, Nikita questions the basis of the prosecutor's demands, which she considers unreasonable. She specifically highlights how the prosecutor concluded the threat allegations related to the cosmetic products of Reza Gladys, which she views as the core of the issue.

"Your Honor, this is what I said, the prosecutor's demands are driven by personal grievances and hatred," said Nikita Mirzani in front of the panel of judges at the South Jakarta District Court on Thursday (16/10/2025).

Nikita also criticized the prosecutor's conduct, which she deemed unprofessional during the trial. She felt that the prosecutor acted arbitrarily and attempted to dominate the proceedings, even though the leadership of the trial was in the hands of the panel of judges.

"The prosecutor is not using their brain to think. If the Glowing Booster Cell product has not been sold since the beginning of 2024 by Reza Gladys, as mentioned by the prosecutor in their indictment, then logically, why would Reza Gladys feel scared about the repost I made in October 2024?," she said.

Furthermore, he compared his sentence of 11 years to corruption cases involving trillions of rupiah, where the demands are not much different. He feels something is amiss and questions why his case is considered so serious by the prosecutor.

Nikita feels that the demands directed at him are a reflection of the moral decay of the law enforcement officials handling his case. He hopes the panel of judges can view the trial facts clearly.

"Based on the description above, the prosecutor's conclusion stating that I used 4 images of the Glowing Booster Cell and one image of the e-commerce purchase receipt for the Glowing Booster Cell as a means to threaten Reza Gladys has proven to be a conclusion that contains lies and illogical legal engineering," he concluded.
