Protested by Mother for Never Breaking Fast at Home for 7 Years, Anwar BAB Limits Activities During Ramadan

Kapanlagi.com - Anwar BAB chose to rearrange his schedule during this holy month of Ramadan. The decision was made to prioritize the moment of breaking the fast with his family at home.

For almost seven years, Anwar BAB rarely spent time breaking the fast at home. This habit made his mother protest and ask Anwar to spend time with the family.

"This year there are indeed several times when I don't take the opportunity to break the fast, maybe in the middle. Because I want to take the moment with the family," said Anwar BAB in Tendean Area, South Jakarta, on Thursday (14/3/2024).

Anwar's decision to prioritize time with his family is acknowledged as a response to his mother's request, who feels lonely during the month of Ramadan.

"Because my mom always says, 'you haven't broken the fast at home for almost 7 years'. I was sad too, because my mom is already old. Well, there are some moments during breaking the fast that I don't take on jobs," added Anwar BAB.

Although there are many job offers coming in, Anwar chooses to participate in the pre-dawn meal program rather than breaking the fast outside the house. This allows Anwar to still have time to gather with his family during breaking the fast.

"If I'm full during pre-dawn meal, I'll have work until noon. I can still come home for Maghrib, still able to eat together," said Anwar.

2. Blessings of Ramadan

Anwar acknowledges that there are quite a lot of jobs offered, which can keep him busy on set all day long.

"It's really a blessing, thank God. The jobs keep coming. Just yesterday, there were more jobs. If I were to accept all of them, I could be working non-stop from morning until night without sleeping. I haven't slept until dawn," he said.

"Since the beginning, I have been trusted in the entertainment industry and the jobs keep coming," Anwar concluded.
