Rumored to Have Died, Actor Jupiter Fortissimo: I'm Still Alive

Kapanlagi.com - Actor Jupiter Fortissimo admits to being surprised when he heard rumors circulating about him during his time in prison due to a drug case that affected him. One of the widely spread news was that Jupiter had died.

In April 2018, Jupiter gained public attention because photos depicting his concerning condition inside the prison circulated on social media. In those photos, Jupiter's body appeared thin with wounds on his skin.

"Wow, it's funny, when I was inside (prison) I got this disease, got what, that was a few years ago, two years ago if I'm not mistaken, I heard there were rumors from my friends, they said I died," said Jupiter Fortissimo in Jatisampurna, Bekasi, West Java, on Tuesday (12/3/2024).

"Then recently there was a post from my soap opera, some teenagers commented, 'wow, this soap opera (ABG) is dedicated to the late Jupiter' hahaha. I immediately replied, no, I'm still alive. So that's what happened," added Jupiter.

1. Not as Active as Before

Nevertheless, Jupiter admits that he is not as active as before after spending 4 years and 9 months in prison.

"I am still healthy, but not as active as before because I got used to being inside, being confined for 4 years and 9 months. When I got out, I had to work a little bit, and it was tiring. So maybe I need to do more exercise. But so far, I am still healthy," he said.

2. Rumored to be Dead

Jupiter also mentioned that during his time in prison, he was often rumored to be dead.

For your information, Jupiter Fortissimo was imprisoned twice for drug-related cases. The first time was in 2016, where he was sentenced to 2.5 years in prison. Not long after his release, Jupiter faced the same problem again. He was arrested by the police for a drug case in 2019.

"Yes, that was two years ago, and friends kept asking. Maybe people thought something happened to me since I haven't been seen for a long time, why I was inside for so long, but the reality is that I am still alive," he concluded.
