Raisa and Hamish Daud Agree to Co-Parent Together

The Religious Court has hammered the gavel and granted the divorce petition filed by the singer of the song Mantan Terindah.

Confirmation regarding the status of their relationship was directly provided by Raisa's lawyer, Putra Lubis. He explained that today’s court decision was held without the presence of the defendant, commonly known as a verstek decision.

"Alhamdulillah it has been finalized verstek, granting the petition and declaring the marriage between Raisa and Hamish ended due to divorce," said Putra Lubis when contacted on Tuesday (16/12/2025).

This verstek decision also reinforces that there is no longer a marital bond between Raisa and Hamish Daud. Nevertheless, the public is certainly wondering about the fate of their only child, Zalina, after the separation of her parents.

In response to this, the legal representatives ensured that the main focus of this trial was purely on the status of the marriage. There was no drama over child custody rights between both parties. Putra Lubis emphasized that his client and Hamish Daud have reached their own agreement for the sake of their child.

"So the focus for Raisa and Hamish is only related to the marriage status which has now been officially divorced," explained Putra Lubis.

Furthermore, Putra explained that although they have separated their living arrangements, both agreed to implement a co-parenting model. This agreement was made so that the child continues to receive complete love from both parents without having to choose one side.

"Regarding custody rights, we have agreed on co-parenting," he said.

Regarding how Raisa responded after learning that she is now officially a widow, Putra Lubis recounted the moment when he delivered the news.

Considering the information about the verdict was delivered quite late at night, Raisa's reaction seemed quite calm and she did not provide many excessive comments.

"Since I informed her it was late at night, she just said thank you and asked to inform Hamish as well," concluded Putra Lubis.
