Ramadan Amidst the Corona Outbreak, Chand Kelvin Utilizes Time for Quality Time

Kapanlagi.com - This Ramadan feels different from previous years due to the corona virus (COVID-19) pandemic. This is also felt by Chand Kelvin who spends more time at home due to government regulations to enforce social distancing.

Because of this extraordinary situation, Chand Kelvin admits that there are many things he misses about the holy month of Ramadan. However, the owner of the real name Chandra Adi Prakoso still takes the positive side of this pandemic.

"There are many things. Maybe we can break the fast together, have suhoor together, and usually we have events during shooting. But this time everything is postponed, everything is delayed, and I think it's not only the entertainers who are affected but it seems like all professions are affected. So how can we spend quality time with our family and still maintain our worship together," said Chand Kelvin when contacted on Wednesday (29/4/2020).

1. Convenience During the Pandemic

Due to the pandemic that has affected the whole world, worship activities that are usually carried out in mosques have to be done at home. This is a convenience for Muslims to avoid dangers that can harm themselves and others.

"If previously we had to perform worship in the mosque, during the month of Ramadan, such as obligatory prayers and tarawih prayers. But we have the convenience, I also heard many lectures from my ustazs that in this situation, it is allowed to do everything at home," he continued.

2. Remaining Focused

Worshipping at home does not mean reducing the essence of worship itself. By staying at home, Chan Kelvin can be closer to his family and to Allah SWT through both obligatory and voluntary worship.

"So we increase the worship at home together with our family. Surely, by staying at home, we will not reduce the focus on worship during the month of Ramadan," he concluded.
