Read 55 Million Times, the Novel "Septihan" Now Comes in Serial Form

Kapanlagi.com - The novel "Septihan" by Poppi Pertiwi, which has reached 55 million readers, is now being adapted into a serial. Directed by Suroso MYS, this series is expected to deliver a story as powerful as the novel version.

This series will star Adimas Rifaldy, Thalita Putri, Syahwa, and Rafi Angkarana. Merpati Film, as the production house, ensures that the beauty of the story in the novel "Septihan" will be maximally translated to the screen.

Producer Sentot Sahid expressed his confidence in the abilities of the young actors involved in this series. He also shared his previous experience when giving opportunities to young actors.

"With this project, I feel challenged. There’s also some nervousness, because this work has been read by many people. However, I have previously worked on projects featuring young actors, and it turns out they can succeed," said Sentot at a press conference in the Pejaten area, South Jakarta, Friday (10/1/2025).

Even Sentot still remembers the moment when he gave space to Adipati Dolken at the beginning of his career through the series "Kepompong". The same pattern is now applied in the series "Septihan".

"One example is Adipati Dolken, who first starred in my series titled Kepompong. I also use this pattern in the series Septihan, even though they are new kids, their abilities are not to be underestimated," he said.

Adimas Rifaldy, who plays the main character Septian, feels enthusiastic about his role. He admits he is very much looking forward to the moment to bring this complex character to life on screen.

"I am very honored to be a part of this series. Septian is a complex character, and I can't wait to bring his emotions and struggles to life on screen," said Adimas.

2. The Story of Septihan

"Septihan" tells the story of a teenage love journey full of challenges. Jihan Halana, a brave girl, confesses her love to Septian Adian Nugroho, a cool and quiet boy known as an outstanding student. However, Jihan's love is outright rejected.

Despite being rejected, Jihan does not give up and continues to pursue Septian. Unfortunately, her struggle is often met with ridicule from her schoolmates, especially the Ravispa gang led by Galaksi, one of Septian's close friends.

In her love journey, Jihan faces various obstacles, including bullying from girl classmates who also like Septian, such as Mauren and Thalita. Nevertheless, Jihan remains steadfast and fights hard until she finally wins Septian's heart.
