Leaving 6 Children and 3 Grandchildren, Nurul Qomar Could Not Fulfill His Wish to See All His Children Graduate with a Master's Degree

Kapanlagi.com - The passing of legendary comedian Nurul Qomar brings deep sorrow to the family he left behind. Amidst the sadness, Qomar's son, Soebagja Salim, reminisces about his father's spirited personality and the many big dreams that he never had the chance to realize.

"There are six children and three grandchildren left by Abah Qomar," said Soebagja when met at TPU Carang Pulang, Tangerang Regency, Thursday (1/9/2024).

1. Deep Sorrow Left by Nurul Qomar

Soebagja revealed that Qomar's departure left a deep wound for the family. Nevertheless, they want to keep the spirit and values of life that the father held firmly all this time.

"Yes, we, where they all are, are very sad, devastated. However, we also do not want to forget the spirits and all the values that Abah Qomar instilled," he continued.

2. Qomar's Struggle Against Disease

During his battle with cancer, Qomar showed an extraordinary struggle that became an inspiration for the family. According to Soebagja, his father not only taught about life but also set an example through real actions.

"Not only taught, but demonstrated in Abah's journey, Abah's struggle against the very fierce cancer," Soebagja revealed.

3. Unfulfilled Wishes

At the end of his life, Qomar had several unfulfilled wishes. One of his legacies was to see all his children complete their education up to the master's degree.

"There are many, he definitely wants to see all his children with master's degrees," said Soebagja.

4. Qomar Wants to See His Child in College

Qomar has a great concern for education, especially for his youngest child who is only 8 years old. He hopes to see his daughter continue her education all the way to college.

"That father really wants to see his child go to college, especially since he has left behind a very young child, 8 years old, the youngest is a girl. 'I really want to see her in college'," said Soebagja while reminiscing about his father's words.

5. Wants to Establish a Free School

In addition to the desire for his children's education, Qomar also has a great dream of preserving Sundanese culture. He wants to establish a free school that teaches Sundanese arts and life values to the younger generation.

"We also want to build a free Sundanese school that teaches Sundanese values. Because that is usually what father keeps repeating," said Soebagja.

6. Hoping to Continue Nurul Qomar's Dreams

Qomar's great dream is a moral legacy for his family. Although it has not yet come true, the family hopes to continue that dream in honor of the father's struggle.

"Both in the past and even until now, in his final moments, Abah always repeated that wish," concluded Soebagja.
