Raffi Ahmad Helps Carry Johnny Wong's Coffin, Proof of True Friendship with Baim Wong

Kapanlagi.com - The proof of true friendship between Raffi Ahmad and Baim Wong was clearly visible at the funeral home of Johnny Wong, Baim Wong's father, in the Gondangdia area, Central Jakarta, on Tuesday (7/1/2025). Despite his busy schedule, Raffi took the time to attend the wake and pay his last respects.

“Yes, I definitely feel the loss,” Raffi Ahmad expressed with a tone full of emotion upon arrival.

Raffi's sadness was not only shown through words. When Johnny Wong's body was about to be placed in the ambulance, Raffi also helped carry the coffin. This scene became a touching moment, while Baim Wong appeared busy carrying his son, Kiano, and did not participate in lifting the coffin.

After the body was placed in the ambulance, Raffi and Baim were seen having a brief conversation. However, what they talked about was not clearly heard by those around them.

Before the departure of the body to the cemetery, Raffi Ahmad shared stories about his memories with Johnny Wong. Raffi remembered Johnny as a figure who played an important role in the early stages of his career.

“Back then, I was often with Baim, so we frequently went to his father's house, Baim's house back then too,” recalled Raffi nostalgically.

Raffi also revealed that his family had a historical relationship with Johnny Wong's family. “Also, historically, my father's family is also close to Baim's father. So the circle isn't far apart,” added Raffi.

2. Hospitalized for 20 Days

On the other hand, Baim Wong has not spoken much about his father's passing. He only asked for prayers from everyone for the smoothness of Johnny Wong's burial.

Johnny Wong was reported to have undergone intensive care at Abdi Waluyo Hospital for 20 days in December 2024. During that time, he was said to often vomit every time he tried to eat. Until now, the family has not provided official information regarding the cause of death.

Johnny Wong's body is planned to be taken to Purwakarta, West Java, for burial. Johnny's departure leaves a deep sorrow for the extended family and his close friends, including Raffi Ahmad.
