According to Rendy's manager, Ahmad Fauzan, Ernest's passing has left a deep wound for the actor. Rendy was even unable to hold back tears all night after receiving the sad news.

"I just met Randy, he just finished preaching in Kelapa Gading, I approached him, he was sad, he cried all night," Fauzan told reporters on Sunday (1/5/2025).

1. Rendy Departing for Bangkok

Meanwhile, Rendy's wife, Lady Nayoan, has just arrived in Jakarta after traveling from Vietnam. Now, Lady and Rendy are preparing for their departure to Bangkok.

"Lady just arrived in Jakarta this afternoon at 11. Now she is getting ready to depart for Bangkok," Fauzan said.

2. The Illness Afflicting Rendy's Father

Fauzan explained that the late Ernest had been living in Thailand for the past few years. The cause of Ernest's death was liver failure, which he had been suffering from since 2022.

"So, his father had been residing in Hua Hin for the past few years. His illness started in 2022. So, if the condition is liver failure according to the doctor," he explained.

3. The Process of Handling the Deceased in Thailand

The process of handling the deceased will definitely be carried out in Thailand, without being brought back to Indonesia. This decision has been agreed upon by Rendy's extended family.

"Yes, in Thailand, the body will not be brought back to Indonesia," he said.

4. The Body Will Be Cremated

Fauzan also mentioned that the body is planned to be cremated, although the technical details have not yet been confirmed. For more complete information, Fauzan suggested asking Rendy directly.

"The plan, I just found out just now, will be cremated. That's just the plan, okay? Whether it will be scattered or taken, I don't really know. Maybe just ask Rendy," he concluded.
