Friends Reveal Paula Verhoeven's Tears Broke When Mourning for Johnny Wong, Baim Wong's Father

"Paula is very sad, crying, she is in shock, but she was happy to meet Uncle Johnny when he was still alive, she also visited him in the hospital, she said," said Chaca Frederica when met in the Gondangdia area, Jakarta, Tuesday (7/1/2025).

As a good friend, Chaca Frederica expressed the importance of providing support to Paula and Baim during difficult times like this. She admitted that she tries to be there for both of them whom she has known for quite a long time.

"Yeah, I give support to both of them because Paula is a friend, Baim is a friend, both are friends, so I support both. I also met their kids earlier, Keano and Kenzo," explained Chaca about her involvement with Paula and Baim's small family.

The atmosphere at the mourning house, according to Chaca, is filled with the presence of family and relatives who come to pay their last respects to the late Uncle Jhonny. She feels that the atmosphere is very touching and full of togetherness.

"Earlier inside, seeing the body of the late Bang Jhonny was very beautiful, thank God many relatives and family came to pray," she expressed.

As a long-time friend, Chaca Frederica emphasized that her presence is not just a formality. She feels compelled to be there and to provide encouragement to Baim Wong's extended family during this time of mourning.

"As a friend who has known Baim for quite a while, I came here to give support, encouragement, whatever happens is all God's destiny, we cannot avoid it," said Chaca.

2. Deepest Condolences

Chaca also mentioned that her presence at the funeral was a moment to build relationships with Baim Wong's family. She took this opportunity to express her condolences in person.

"I also met with Mr. Baim's family inside, and I could only express my condolences and prayers as a fellow Muslim," concluded Chaca Frederica sincerely.

As reported, Johnny Wong passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at 04:27 AM at RS Abdi Waluyo, Central Jakarta. Johnny had undergone intensive care for 20 days in December 2024. However, until now, the family has not provided an official statement regarding the cause of his passing.

Johnny Wong's body is planned to be buried in Purwakarta, West Java, and a procession including Baim Wong has already departed for Purwakarta.
