"Yes, it feels like something is missing, like a soul is missing in that house. Finally, at my house, I held an open house. So I decorated it there. Because I don’t know why, many people say, 'Oh, that’s too much.' It’s not too much, because why? We are hosting guests," he said.

Interestingly, in terms of catering, Anwar shows a high level of tolerance. He deliberately sought catering services that were still operating during Eid al-Fitr to ensure that the dining needs of the guests were well met. He did this to ensure that all family members could celebrate the day of victory without having to be busy in the kitchen.
"I rented catering from the first day. I looked for it, because many catering services are closed on Eid, right? I looked for Christian Eid. He said, 'We can help,' he said. So it’s not during Eid, it’s about religious tolerance," Anwar explained.

Just before Eid, Anwar BAB is still actively working.
Through this Eid moment, Anwar hopes to become a better person. He feels that the long life given to him is a blessing that must be appreciated by continuing to maintain relationships and doing good to others.
"Just thinking about Eid makes my eyes swell up, you know, like, 'Oh God, thank you for giving me a long life to meet Eid again.' Because the moment of Eid for me is a time for family reunions that used to not gather, now gathering," he concluded.
