Addie MS came with family and relatives, including children who accompanied him. Besides visiting his father's grave, this moment also became a special opportunity to visit Vidi's grave, which he had not had the chance to visit before.

In a solemn atmosphere, Addie MS shared his family's tradition every Eid, which always includes visiting family graves.

"Yes, as usual every year after the Eid prayer nearby, we go to my late father's grave here as well. Then just now, I was with Narel and Tristan who just got married. It turns out Narel's grandfather is also in the same place, in the area of the fighters. So Narel's grandfather and Tristan's grandfather are actually in the same area," said Addie MS at the Tanah Kusir TPU, South Jakarta, Saturday (21/3).

1. An Emotional Visit to Vidi's Grave

He added that the visit to Vidi's grave was quite an emotional moment. Moreover, this was the first time he could pay his respects after it had been postponed previously.

"Then because we didn't have the chance to go to Vidi's burial yesterday, wow this is a valuable opportunity for us to visit here. Yes, it's sad too, and thank God we finally have the chance now to go to Vidi's grave to pray for the late Vidi," he said.

2. Addie MS: I Never Saw Vidi Sad

For Addie MS, Vidi was not just a colleague in the music industry, but also a person who left a deep impression. He reminisced about how Vidi's character was so warm and easily accepted by anyone.

"Yes, as felt by many of Vidi's friends, Vidi was a very good person to the extent that he was nicknamed 'Ambassador of Friendship'. I think that's very fitting because throughout his life, I never saw Vidi sad," he explained.

The memories became even stronger when Addie recalled their first meeting in 2009. At that time, Vidi was still at the beginning of his career but had already shown impressive behavior in the eyes of his seniors.

"Back in 2009 when I held a concert, my birthday concert at JCC (Jakarta Convention Center), it was called Music Odyssey. That was the first time I collaborated with Vidi, he was just starting his career. That was when I first admired his attitude, not just his voice and other things, but his attitude. His attitude was something extraordinary, regarding manners, it was amazing," he continued.

Not only Addie MS, a similar impression was also expressed by Memes who reminisced about Vidi as a warm and easy-going person, even with those who are more senior.

"Vidi Aldiano has a good impression, you know, because he can match the conversation with his seniors. And he is really like a Friendship Ambassador. I mean, I've talked to him one-on-one a few times and it feels comfortable, you know," she said.

Memes also highlighted how Vidi was able to create a friendly conversation atmosphere, without barriers between juniors and seniors, which made many people feel a sense of loss over his departure.

On the other hand, Addie MS also reminisced about his last communication with Vidi, which remained warm. Although they rarely met due to their busy schedules, their relationship stayed close through text messages.

"As for work, actually, it’s because he’s busy. He likes to WhatsApp (WA) me. So if he releases an album, and there’s something going on, there are certain feelings. Not just me, I see that some of his close friends also often communicate through WA like that," he said.

For Addie MS, Vidi's warm treatment became a memory that is hard to forget. He felt appreciated not as a senior, but as a friend.

"So even though I am much older, he treats me like a friend. So I feel touched by how I am treated like a friend. It’s extraordinary," he concluded.
