Ruben Onsu Reveals Onyo's Role in Eid 2026

The Eid moment of 2026 brings a warm story from the family of Ruben Onsu. In the midst of a meaningful festive atmosphere, his son, Betrand Peto, or fondly called Onyo, captures attention. In this year's Eid al-Fitr celebration, Ruben revealed a change in Onyo's role compared to during Ramadan.

Previously active in waking people for sahur, now Onyo shows a different form of attention on the day of victory. Ruben explains that the bond with his son remains strong. The support given by Onyo is one of the things that keeps this year's Eid warm, despite the dynamics he feels.

"He supports me for the Eid prayer, he was already getting ready earlier. So I left, and he went back to sleep," explained Ruben in Sawangan, Saturday (21/3).

This simple role shows the close relationship between Ruben and Onyo. The attention given by Onyo becomes a form of meaningful emotional support during special moments. Not only that, their togetherness also continues after the Eid prayer.

Ruben mentioned that he continues the Lebaran tradition by visiting extended family. In this agenda, Onyo also participates and accompanies his father in visiting relatives. This is one form of togetherness that is still maintained. "And after this, we will also visit family, he will join," he added.

For Ruben, Onyo's presence during Eid is an important part of maintaining family warmth. The role played by his son holds a special meaning.

On the other hand, Ruben also revealed that this year's Eid has a deeper meaning for him. He mentioned that there is an emotional process he is going through, even though he cannot express it openly yet. "Mmm..letting go," said Ruben.

He also acknowledged that there is a new experience he is still feeling with his family during this Eid moment. Because of that, he chose not to share everything with the public yet.

"So yes, still because we are still new, there are still many things that I can't tell my friends because today is the first time we are feeling it," he concluded.
