Regardless of Ndank Surahman's prohibition, Stinky Reborn still performs the song 'Mungkinkah'

During their performance at Rumah Goa, Ciputat, South Tangerang, on Tuesday (2/1/2024) afternoon, Stinky Reborn, consisting of three members, namely Irwan Batara with new vocalists Ferdy and Rendra, still performed the song 'Mungkinkah'.

After the performance, Irwan explained why Stinky still sings the song 'Mungkinkah'. According to Irwan, the song was not only created by Ndank alone, but also by himself. It has even been registered with the publisher.

"From a legal or law perspective, the song 'Mungkinkah' was created by 2 people, Irwan and Ndank. Why do we still sing the song 'Mungkinkah'? Because the song is legally registered with publishers or collective royalty institutions such as KCI and WAMI, registered under two names," said Irwan Batara.

"So if Ndank prohibits it, Stinky still has Irwan. Unless it's a song that Ndank created alone, it's okay. We won't sing it. But that song belongs to Ndank and Irwan," he continued.

As is known, Ndank Surahman on December 30, 2023, through a video uploaded on his social media, forbade Stinky and Andre Taulany from performing his songs, such as Mungkinkah and Jangan Tutup Dirimu.

Considering that the process of creating the song Mungkinkah was done together, Irwan considers Ndank's warning not serious.

Moreover, in the warning, Ndank was not accompanied by a lawyer.
