Ressa Rizky's Legal Counsel Questions Denada's Claim About House Facilities, Demands Certificate Evidence

The civil lawsuit involving singer Denada and a young man named Ressa Rizky Rosano is currently underway at the Banyuwangi District Court. Denada's side reportedly claimed to have provided facilities in the form of a car and a house to Ressa as a form of responsibility.

However, this was strongly denied by Ressa's legal team, which challenged the transparency of the ownership documents in court. Ronald Armada, Ressa's attorney, emphasized that in law, the party making a claim must be able to prove it concretely.

He requested that Denada's side not merely throw narratives to the public without showing authentic evidence such as the vehicle registration certificate for movable property or certificates for the property allegedly given.

"So, just prove it. Don’t just talk; proving it is easy. If we are talking about the context of a sale, then there should be a vehicle registration certificate, right? Where are the ownership documents that can be purely proven later in court?" said Ronald Armada at a virtual press conference on Thursday (22/1/2026).

The issue of the house is also a sharp focus for the plaintiff. Ronald mentioned that the claim of providing a house means nothing if the ownership status is still in someone else's name or in Denada's own name.

He even insinuated that the narrative without clear ownership evidence is merely a joke that is inappropriate to be made in the midst of this serious case.

"Don't show the house, show the certificate. This means he has already given the house in the sense of giving the certificate from whoever to the name Resa. If he just says 'Oh, I have given this,' but the certificate is still in someone else's name or his name, maybe he is just doing stand-up comedy," said Ronald Armada.

Ronald also explained that the burden of proof lies entirely with Denada as the party making the statement about the asset transfer. For him, the truth regarding a mother's responsibility for her child's needs will become clear when all the documents are presented in court later.

"That's why when he claims to have given a car, the burden of proof is not on us, it is on him. Because he is the one claiming to have given the car, you see. That's the reasoning, that's the logic," explained Ronald Armada.

This case is predicted to be prolonged as both parties feel they have a strong basis. However, for Ressa, the claim for compensation of IDR 7 billion is a form of struggle to obtain what should have been her right for a long time, which is allegedly not fulfilled by her mother.

"But if it turns out that there isn’t any, then we will evaluate together how the quality is, yes Denada as a mother who must also be responsible for her child's needs," concluded Ronald Armada.
