The presence of Detective Doctor or Doktif at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Thursday (22/01/2026), attracted public attention. Arriving in a wheelchair with an IV drip still attached, the person whose real name is Samira Farahnaz appeared very weak while responding to the investigator's summons.

Seeing her client's condition, which was not suitable for undergoing intensive examination, Doktif's attorney, Teuku Muda, submitted a request for postponement. The police also agreed to the request considering Doktif's drastically declining physical condition.

"So, based on the observation results of the health condition of the Mother, which has indeed declined, the investigative team ultimately concluded that time should be granted for a postponement regarding the provision of information today," said Teuku Muda providing a statement.

This examination has been rescheduled for the next two weeks. The legal team confirmed that Doktif will return to provide testimony as a suspect in the defamation case on the agreed date. "We requested earlier from the investigative team, and thank God our request was accepted, it will be around two weeks, right Ma'am? On the 6th. Yes, on February 6th," added the lawyer.

This situation reminds the public of his rival, Dr. Richard Lee, who previously also requested a postponement of the examination for health reasons. The difference is, Doktif still insisted on coming to the police station even though he had to receive emergency medical treatment, as if to subtly criticize Richard Lee's choice to be absent at that time.

"But please, this is not to criticize anyone, even though Doktif is wearing a mask because of it. It is not to criticize the other party who was also reported to be absent (due to illness) yesterday," said Doktif in a hoarse voice.

Richard Lee is currently facing serious legal issues at the Metro Jaya Police based on a report from Doktif. He has been named a suspect for allegedly violating the Consumer Protection Law and the Health Law related to his beauty products, which are deemed to have overclaims, with a threat of much heavier penalties.

Doktif admitted that his thoughts are actually focused on Richard Lee's fate in the case. Although they are on opposing sides, he feels empathy imagining the layered criminal threats that haunt his colleague.

"Doktif reported a DRL (Richard Lee) with a threat of 12 years plus 5 years. As fellow doctors, there is a sense of conscience that makes it hard to bear. That is what actually creates inner pressure for Doktif himself," he revealed.

In closing his statement, Doktif emphasized his differences with Richard Lee in facing legal processes. He is committed to remain cooperative and present to fulfill the investigator's summons in any condition as long as it can be pursued. "But the difference is, Doktif still tries to be cooperative, still tries to be present even if it has to be like this. We show that we obey the law," concluded Doktif.
