The Attorney General's Office revealed that the private jet frequently used by Harvey Moeis, a suspect in the tin trading corruption case in the mining business license area (IUP) of PT Timah Tbk from 2015 to 2022, is not owned by him. The original owner of the jet is Regal Matters Limited Ltd.

"So, this aircraft belongs to Regal Matters Limited Ltd, which operates in collaboration with PT Express Transportasi Antarbenua from 2019 to 2022," he said as quoted by KapanLagi.com via CNN Indonesia, Tuesday (2/7).

1. Attorney General Conducts Investigation

The Attorney General's Office conducted an asset investigation and found that Harvey Moeis does not have ownership rights over the private jet. This information indicates that the existence of the private jet is not exceptional and does not need to be excessively discussed.

Harvey Moeis has to pay for the cost of traveling on the private jet, not as a renter. The investigation against Harvey Moeis and 22 other suspects in the corruption case involving tin, which is suspected to have caused Rp 300 trillion in state losses, is still ongoing. Their case will be submitted to the court soon.

2. Reasons for Using a Private Jet

The reason Harvey Moeis frequently uses a private jet is for business purposes, including meetings with business partners and mining transactions.

By using a private jet, Harvey can travel for business more efficiently and effectively, as well as enhance convenience in conducting mining business transactions.

3. So a Passenger 32 Times

Harvey Moeis chose the private jet for 32 flights for business reasons. Previously, the private jet was mentioned as a birthday gift for his first son with Sandra Dewi.

Sandra Dewi herself admitted that she didn't know about the gift because she didn't buy it. She also never posted about the gift on social media.

4. Still Under Investigation

The Attorney General's Office threatens to seize the private jet if it is proven to be related to corruption proceeds. The Attorney General's Office is committed to thoroughly investigate this case and take firm action against the perpetrators involved.

"We are still investigating whether it is true or not. If there is a connection, we will definitely pursue the true ownership or hidden ownership," said the Deputy Attorney General's Director of Investigation, Friday (19/4).
