Erin Wartia Trigina, the ex-wife of Andre Taulany, is now working with a new legal team to handle a dispute with her housekeeper. Erin appointed Misyal B. Achmad to replace her previous lawyer.
This mother of three has emerged to provide a shocking clarification regarding the reason for the change of legal representation. She feels there was unprofessional conduct in handling the case that is currently surrounding her.
"Actually, I had entrusted my case to Mr. Sunan. Then suddenly, halfway through, Mr. Sunan delegated it to a lawyer that I had not previously agreed upon. So, this means it is unprofessional, right?" Erin said when met in the Bangka area, South Jakarta, on Monday (1/6/2026).
Erin explained that she had actually fulfilled all financial obligations to her previous lawyer. However, she felt uncomfortable with the sudden delegation of tasks without communication.
"In fact, we have fulfilled all the obligations that Mr. Sunan wanted. Basically, everything has been recapped, we have fulfilled it, according to the lawyer's fee it's all settled, and now we just need to work," she said.
The woman born in 1985 admitted she was shocked because her case was handed over to another lawyer after two weeks. She felt that the trust she had given was not in accordance with the initial agreement.
"Well, after working for just two weeks in the middle of the road, suddenly Mr. Sunan delegated to a different lawyer. And actually, we were less pleased because there was no prior discussion," he said.
This case is heating up after the involvement of Commission III of the Indonesian Parliament in a hearing. Erin feels cornered because the narrative developing in public seems to have already convicted her as guilty.
This issue started from a report by a household staff member with the initials N regarding allegations of abuse. Erin strongly denies the accusations and is now counter-reporting the household staff for defamation.
Misyal B. Achmad as the new lawyer ensures that he will maximize the legal rights of his client. They are ready to face the legal process that is currently underway at the South Jakarta Metro Police.
