Rey Utami Gets Sick During Trial, Cries Because She Hasn't Seen Her Child for Seven Months - Admits Breast Milk Drying Up

Kapanlagi.com - The trial for the Ikan Asin case resumed today (3/2/2020). Similar to last week, the agenda is still to hear testimonies from 23 witnesses.

Unlike the previous trial, today Rey Utami came with a slightly pale face, appearing weak and unsteady while walking. Apparently, she has been sick for the past two days.

"I've been really sick, like my head is about to explode. I haven't had a check-up yet, but they said I need to get a blood test because I don't know what illness it is, or whether there are symptoms of typhoid or not. Hopefully, I'll be examined at the hospital," Rey said when met at the South Jakarta District Court on Monday (3/2/2020).

1. Missing Meeting

Rey Utami admitted that for the past two days, her body has been experiencing hot and cold temperatures. She suspects it is due to the unfavorable weather conditions, as well as the longing for not having met her child for a long time.

"I'm sick because I miss my child, the weather is also not good. Just imagine missing your child for seven months," she explained, then burst into tears.

2. Breast Milk Drying Up

Still in tears, Rey Utami admitted that her breast milk has dried up. This is because she hasn't breastfed her son for several months.

"I can't breastfeed anymore because my milk has dried up, because we can't bring the child with us in the detention center, we can't stay together with him, we have to be separated from him. If possible, I want to bring my child to the detention center, sleep together with him," Rey hoped.
