Richa Iskak Reveals Her Struggle to Heal Her Heart in 2026 Without a Husband

Entering the beginning of 2026, actress Richa Iskak has to face a different reality of life. After the passing of her beloved husband, Gary Iskak, Richa is now struggling as a single parent to raise her child. Although going through a very tough phase, she chooses to stay strong and heal her heart in order to continue living.

For Richa, there is no other choice but to keep moving forward. She believes that the strength she has now is a form of her responsibility to her children. Following the last message from her late husband to take care of their child is Richa's biggest motivation at the moment.

"Yes, just go ahead. Just go ahead with bismillah. Because life must go on. And I also have to fight for the children, of course. So, just go ahead with bismillah. Whatever it is, we go through it, follow Allah's guidance, and the message from the late one is to take care of the children as well," said Richa Iskak when met in the Tendean area, South Jakarta, on Monday (1/5/2026).

Going through the New Year's moment without the presence of her husband, Richa admits brings a deep sense of sadness. However, she emphasizes that she has reached a stage of acceptance. For her, accepting reality is the only way to face the future that lies ahead.

"Yes, it's sad, that's for sure. But, well, I've reached a phase of acceptance, I can accept it. Although sometimes it's still hard, but whatever it is in front of me, I have to face it. That's all," she explained.

Richa also realizes that her current position is very crucial for the psychological condition of her children. She tries not to show weakness in front of them. For her, a mother is a mirror for her children, so she must appear strong in any situation.

"I have to be strong. Because the children will mirror. If they see their mother strong, insyaallah they will be strong. But if I am weak, they will automatically drop. So I have to stay strong," Richa explained.

Even though she continues to try to be strong, Richa does not deny that there are moments when she feels very down. As an ordinary human, she still feels sorrow, but she chooses to keep that feeling of 'down' to herself when she is alone.

"Of course. It's still there. What is it... Well, if there’s a down moment, I’m definitely alone. But whatever, the important thing is that we have to accept what has passed, we have to be sincere, it’s Allah's way, it's qadarullah," he concluded.
