Richard Lee Claims There Are Irregularities in the Trial, Says Doctor's Testimony Changed

Kapanlagi.com - Richard Lee returned as a defendant in the trial regarding allegations of violations of the Health and Consumer Protection Laws. The trial was held at the Tangerang District Court on Thursday (6/8/2026) with the agenda of examining the reporting witness, Doctor alias Samira.

Richard Lee's legal team claimed to have found irregularities in Doctor's statements. They assessed that there were inconsistent statements between the Investigation Report (BAP) and the testimony before the panel of judges. This difference became the main discussion point in the examination of the reporting witness.

"We witnessed many irregularities, there are lies that we believe are so. So we are only focusing on the existing facts, nothing is fabricated," said Faizal Hafied when met at the Tangerang District Court on Thursday (6/8/2026).

Faizal assessed that the legal facts presented by the witness differ from the initial investigation documents. According to him, these changes in statements led Richard Lee's side to question the testimony in court.

"But from those legal facts, it turns out that they do not flow. So there is something that has changed, fabricated, and all sorts of things," said Faizal Hafied.

Richard Lee's legal counsel provided an example of the differences in statements found between the BAP and the testimony in court. They ensured that the questions posed to the witness were still based on the existing documents.

"Like just now, for example, is it true what is called tahu (tofu), because in the BAP it says tahu, but here it has changed. So we are only referring to the BAP here, there are no new things or things that we have fabricated or not," added Faizal Hafied.

2. Richard Lee Explains the Origin of the Product

Richard Lee also explained about beauty products in the case. He stated that Doktif purchased the disputed products from another store, not through his official store.

"My question from yesterday has been very clear that witness Samira bought from another store or not from my store, namely dr. Richard Shop and also dr. Richard Lee Shop. That is already fixed, not purchased from my store," said Richard Lee.

Richard Lee mentioned that the trial is not yet over and will continue next Thursday. He said his team still has many questions to clarify the case further.

"I think it's already quite clear what Bang Faisal saw in the trial earlier, yes. We are also not finished, we will continue on Thursday later," said Richard Lee.

"Next week we will reveal it clearly. This was just up to 30 questions; we still have up to 95 questions. To uphold the law and the truth, it must be done in the right way, with honesty," concluded Faizal Hafied.
