Ridwan Kamil Absent from Divorce Hearing, Atalia Emphasizes No Third Party AK, LM, or SM

The continuation of the divorce lawsuit between Indonesian Parliament member Atalia Praratya and former West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil was held again at the Religious Court (PA) Bandung on Wednesday (31/12/2025). However, the main highlight today is Ridwan Kamil's absence from the courtroom, where he was represented by his legal counsel.

Despite circulating rumors of infidelity involving Ridwan Kamil with several women online, Atalia's side denies the existence of a third party in the divorce lawsuit filed against her husband.

In the trial that started this morning, Ridwan Kamil was not present in person and was represented by his lawyer, Wenda Aluwi, during the agenda for reading the divorce petition. According to Wenda, Ridwan Kamil's absence does not hinder the legal process because all procedures are still being carried out.

"(Ridwan Kamil is not present) because his legal representative is already here," said Wenda Aluwi at the Bandung Religious Court during the trial.

Today's session has an agenda of reporting the results of the previous mediation, reading the petition and response, possible rebuttal and counter-rebuttal, as well as presenting witnesses. Atalia presented two witnesses, namely her biological brother and a house assistant, who have provided testimony before the panel of judges.

When asked about the infidelity issue, Atalia firmly denied speculation that the divorce was caused by the involvement of a third party, which had been widely discussed on social media and in public spaces.

"Oh no, there is none. In the lawsuit, there is no other woman's name mentioned," Atalia stated firmly to reporters as she left the courtroom.

This statement clarifies that all rumors circulating, whether regarding the involvement of specific individuals or issues of extramarital affairs, are not included in the divorce lawsuit documents submitted to the court.

Atalia's attorney, Debi Agusfriansa, explained that the trial process was expedited because mediation between both parties had been completed and an agreement was reached. Debi also reiterated that there were no names of other parties mentioned, as often claimed by netizens, in the divorce lawsuit.

"Names that are circulating such as AK, LM, or SM were never mentioned in the lawsuit. In fact, our client and the defendant have been separated for six months," explained Debi.
