Ririn Ekawati Reveals the Role and Great Service of Ibnu Jamil During the Funeral Process of Their Mother

Kapanlagi.com - A sad news is currently enveloping Ririn Ekawati and Rini Yulianti. Their mother named Samsidar Zaid Moga passed away at the age of 62, precisely on Wednesday (2/12). Apart from a history of cholesterol and diabetes, the deceased also tested positive for Covid-19 before passing away.

The deceased's body was then buried in TPU Tegal Alur, which is a special cemetery for Covid-19 patients. According to the established protocol, Ririn and her family could only see their mother being taken to her final resting place from a distance.

Ririn herself is very grateful because now there is Ibnu Jamil who is loyal to accompany her in difficult times like this. In fact, Ibnu is also said to have made a great contribution during the funeral process of his mother.

"I don't know what would have happened if he (Ibnu) wasn't there, because when we were praying for the deceased, he was the one leading the prayer. And when the burial was taking place, it was only Ibnu who dared to go down into the grave because we are all women," said Ririn when met at her residence in Bendungan Hilir, Central Jakarta, on Wednesday (2/12).

"All of Mama's children are girls. So Ibnu represents the family, and his support is extraordinary. I am really grateful for his presence, it means a lot to me," Ririn concluded.

2. Chronology of the Death of Ririn Ekawati's Mother

Previously, Ririn also shared the chronology of her mother's death. Previously, she was brought to Jakarta from Palu because her condition was dropping so that she could receive intensive treatment.

"So, at exactly 11:12 AM, my mother passed away. She had been sick since yesterday. My mother had been sick in Palu, Central Sulawesi, until Jakarta for one day, it turns out that during her time in Palu, she already had diabetes and high cholesterol," said Ririn Ekawati, when met at her residence in Bendungan Hilir, Central Jakarta, on Wednesday (2/12).

Upon arriving in Jakarta, Ririn was worried because her mother had a prolonged high fever. After taking a test, it turned out that her mother was tested positive for Covid-19.

"When we arrived here, the fever continued, one day with a fever, the next day she was taken to the hospital, it turns out she had Covid," Ririn recalled.
