Ruben Onsu Contributes to Government Efforts to Prevent the Spread of Covid-19

Ruben Onsu was moved to contribute to help the government, one of which is by socializing self-tracing as a step to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus as early as possible.

Through one of his subsidiaries, MOP Channel, Ruben collaborated with a public health service unit, Smartco Laboratory and Research (Smartco Lab). The main mission of Sarwendah's husband is to provide education related to covid-19 by presenting informative shows to all layers of society.

"To promote it to the public, so that it becomes more widespread. So it's not just talking, but we also have to promote it from the service side, so we explain it here. Hopefully, the message from Smartco Lab and MOP can reach all corners. Hopefully, slowly but surely, we can help the government with this covid-19," explained Ruben when holding an open house in the Pakubuwono area, South Jakarta.

1. Expansion Plans in Various Cities in Indonesia

As a healthcare facility, Smartco Lab has passed the testing and verification from the Ministry of Health and the Jakarta Health Department and is registered as a Covid-19 network laboratory. Some of the services provided there include Antigen Swab, PCR Swab, and soon will also provide Antibody Neutralization (a test to determine the level of Covid-19 antibodies in the body).

Currently, Smartco Lab's Swab Test is available in various areas of Jabodetabek. But it doesn't stop there, in the near future, expansion to other cities in Indonesia will also be carried out.

"Because now swab tests have become a habit, a necessity. It has become a new habit and is not scary. So it is our obligation to ensure that we are not infected and do not transmit to others," added the famous presenter.

2. The Importance of Spreading Education About Covid-19

As a public figure who still frequently goes out, Ruben is very serious about protecting himself from exposure to Covid-19. According to him, he often encounters many people who do not comply with protocols, so they need to be educated more about the urgency of the problem we are facing.

"For the sake of health, people must be very focused. I still meet people out there who refuse to wear masks, cough without caring about others. There's no negotiation, Swab. If someone wants to meet and refuses to do a swab, I dare not because the antigen can already determine (the health condition)," said the father of Thalia Putri Onsu.
