Sad News, Ade Anwar Vocalist of OM Pancaran Sinar Petromaks Passed Away at the Age of 70

Kapanlagi.com - Sad news comes from the entertainment and political world. Hariadi Anwar, better known as Ade Anwar, has passed away at the age of 70. This sad news was conveyed by close relatives to the media crew. Ade passed away at Medistra Hospital.

"Innalillahi wa innailaihi rajiun. Just passed away, Hariadi Anwar (Bang Ade PSP)," the message read to the journalists.

Ade Anwar's body is scheduled to be buried tomorrow afternoon, Friday (2/8) after the Friday prayer at TPU Tanah Kusir, South Jakarta.

This sad news was also conveyed by the Instagram account of the Sociology department of FISIP Universitas Indonesia. Through this post, the Sociology department of UI expressed their condolences to Ade.

"The extended family of the Sociology Department of FISIP UI expresses their condolences on the passing of Haryadi Anwar (Ade PSP). An alumnus of the Sociology Bachelor program '74, vocalist of OM Pancaran Sinar Petromaks, and member of the DKI Jakarta Regional House of Representatives)," it wrote.

2. Career Journey

Hariadi Anwar or Ade Anwar began his career in the music world in the 1970s. He was part of a Malay orchestra group called Pancaran Sinar Petromaks (PSP). In PSP, Ade took on the role of drummer as well as a vocalist.

Ade then ventured into politics and joined the Golkar Party, serving as a member of the Indonesian House of Representatives for 2 terms, from 1992-1999. He was then endorsed by the Nasdem Party and elected as a legislative member of the DKI Jakarta Regional House of Representatives for the 2019-2024 period.
