Kapanlagi.com - Abidzar Al Ghifari, the son of the late Ustaz Jeffry Al Buchori or Uje, recently felt annoyed by a netizen's tweet about his late father. One of the netizens inappropriately linked the accident that took Uje's life with the incident involving Dali Wassink some time ago.
The netizen stated that the cause of Uje's death was due to stupidity or a silly matter, which was racing on the road with a motorcycle. Upon hearing this statement, Abidzar felt furious and decided to report the netizen to the authorities to create a deterrent effect.
Responding to this situation, Umi Pipik, Abidzar's mother, also spoke up. When asked about the report to the police, Umi Pipik said that indeed there had been a discussion with her son beforehand before taking that step.
"Yes, he did consult first about how if we report it for a deterrent effect," said Umi Pipik when met in the Tendean area, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (30/7).
Umi Pipik also expressed her feelings when hearing the tweets from netizens. Umi Pipik admitted that regarding this matter, she prioritizes her children's feelings when they are mocked by netizens about their late father.
"Yes, as a mother, especially when it involves my children. I mean, they say that Uje's children have that kind of mentality. Because they grew up without their father who (passed away first), their mentality became like that," she said.
"That's why I, as a mother, step forward, because my children's mentality is just fine. Even though their father has been gone for 11 years, thank God they have become strong and good individuals. If it's said that my children's mentality is damaged, then it's damaged because of that tweet from (the netizen)," she added.
In addition, this certainly also impacts Umi Pipik's third child, who is reluctant to go to school. She explained that this is a normal occurrence because the child feels upset.
"Yes, my third child is like that. In the eyes of my children, the late father is a good father who cares for his children, so it's understandable that they can't accept when their father is said to be like that," she explained.
But fortunately, the child is now calm after being advised not to take the netizens' tweets on social media too personally.
"Oh, we three tried to advise that everything is fine and not to take it to heart," she remarked.
