Saipul Jamil also emphasized that he would rather forgive the police who arrested him. He also admitted that there were many considerations that led him to choose forgiveness.
"What is clear is that from the beginning, I have stated that I will not bring this matter to the legal realm," said Saipul Jamil when met at the West Jakarta Metro Police, Friday (12/1).

"I also think about many things like the police officer's wife, what about their child in the future, I think like that. If I were selfish and emotional, I could take action, but I would rather forgive and hopefully this won't happen again," he continued.

"Let's all work together to fight against drugs in Indonesia, especially in Jakarta," he concluded.
