Sarwendah responded to the challenge from Ruben Onsu regarding the health examination. This was conveyed through her legal representative, Chris Sam Siwu, after a follow-up hearing on the child custody lawsuit at the South Jakarta District Court on Wednesday (2/9/2026).
Chris explained that the health examination was conducted as part of efforts to ensure the protection and health of the child. According to him, the examination is not merely a requirement to meet the child.
"So actually, it's not a requirement, but an obligation regulated by law. The Child Protection Law mandates that parents safeguard their children from health-related issues," said Chris Sam Siwu when met at the South Jakarta District Court on Wednesday (2/9/2026).
The results of Sarwendah's health examination were then presented by the legal representative. From those results, Chris stated that the reference value indicated is non-reactive.
"We present this result because it is apple-to-apple with what was checked by Bang Minola. Our client has also provided us with the results. The result here shows that the reference value is non-reactive. So what our client did was in response to a challenge from Bang Minola to conduct a health check," Chris explained.
Chris also denied allegations that Sarwendah has contracted a certain disease. He emphasized that they will prove this issue in court.
"Essentially, I am just conveying the accusation that our client is also infected with that three-letter thing, which we deny. Why can our client be non-reactive, but on the other side, perhaps the situation requires medication? We will prove all of that in court," he said.
In addition to health issues, Chris also responded to the debate regarding child support costs. He mentioned that Sarwendah has been solely covering the education and maintenance costs of the children for the past eight months.
"Child support, I believe our client has been financing all of his child's needs for the past eight months. So all maintenance and education costs are paid by our client, no longer by Mr. Minola's client. All of that is for the child's needs, not for Sarwendah's personal interests," he concluded.
