Send a Summons for Alleged Breach of Contract, Management Says Investors Are Unaware that Rony Dozer has Passed Away

When met in the Tebet area, South Jakarta, on Monday afternoon (2/21), Eko's lawyer, Hari, explained that there was an unfinished work contract agreement between him and Rony Dozer. However, all the money had been transferred by an investor from Taiwan.

"Regarding this collaboration, our client actually does not expect 100 percent of the money to be returned. There is only a demand from a third party from Taiwan who expects the money given to the deceased to be returned, through our client as an intermediary," said Hari.

1. Investors Request Clarity

In the same occasion, Eko added that the investor from Taiwan, who prefers not to be named, has requested clarity regarding the project and the money that has been sent. Not only that, Eko also mentioned that the investor apparently had no knowledge of Rony Dozer's death.

"The owner asked us about the progress of the project. But I told him that Rony was sick at the time and didn't recover," said Eko.

"Maybe with this news, I will inform the investor in Taiwan as well, because they are very hopeful," he continued.

2. Second Summons

Eko admitted that this is the second summons sent by his side. Until the second summons was sent, Eko said that Rony Dozer's side has not responded or shown any goodwill.

"Why am I like this? Because we have sent the first summons for over a week, and we sent the second summons today, but there has been no response at all. I only saw the chat being read, and they didn't answer when I called," he explained.

3. Close to the Late

In addition, Eko also does not deny his closeness to the late Rony Dozer. He mentioned that his closeness to the late Rony was like his own brother.

"When it comes to me and the late (Rony), honestly I can't bear to see it. In the current situation, with the pandemic and financial difficulties. But I myself demand my rights. Because it has been transferred. I ask for good intentions from Rony's wife and family to find the best solution," he said.

4. Unfinished Projects

There are two projects in this case, namely culinary and horror programs on television. Eko also emphasized that Rony Dozer's party has already received payment.

"The project started in 2017, with a culinary theme. It has been running for several episodes, and one of the private television stations has explained that it will be aired this month. But in 2017, it turns out that Mr. Rony Dozer was sick," said Eko.

"Meanwhile, there were 4 to 5 transfers for 34 episodes of the horror mystery program. The first transfer was Rp 50 million. The first one, in November 2017, was for the culinary project. In May 2018, it was Rp 400 million, for the horror mystery program whose investor is from Taiwan. The third one, there is evidence that I sent Rp 25 million. In the name of the recipient, Rony Dozer. My evidence is real and available," he continued.

5. Show Proof

Not only that, to strengthen his claim, Eko also showed several transfer proofs to Rony Dozer. He mentioned that the total transfer amounted to approximately Rp 60 million.

"This is the next transfer of Rp 100 million, this is for culinary, this is in 2018. In total, approximately Rp 600 million," he said.
