Sheila Dara Celebrates Eid with Vidi's Family, Even Though the Atmosphere is Different

This year's Eid is a moment full of emotion for Vidi Aldiano's family. Although the atmosphere has changed, the family's togetherness is still maintained, including by his wife, Sheila Dara Aisha.

This was conveyed by Harry Kiss, who mentioned that Sheila is still carrying out the Eid tradition with the extended family. Even though they have lost an important figure, family bonds remain strong.

According to Harry, so far there have been no major changes in their family Eid tradition. Everything is still going as usual, even with a different atmosphere.

"No, still at home. So far it seems like nothing has changed," said Harry when met by the KapanLagi team at Tanah Kusir Cemetery, Saturday (21/3).

Harry Kiss acknowledged that the change still feels significant without the presence of his son Vidi. The figure who has always brought energy and creativity is no longer in the family.

"But it’s definitely a huge change without Vidi, there’s no one creative. I’m not a creative person," he said.

On the other hand, Harry also expressed that Sheila still needs space and time to go through her emotional process. He requested that the public not disturb the privacy of his daughter-in-law too much.

"I don’t know, because she never wants to be disturbed when she’s in Cipete. Maybe she’s still in mute mode. Let’s not interview Sheila for now," he said.

Nevertheless, the family continues to create space to gather together. The hope is that this togetherness can be a source of strength in the midst of challenging times.

Harry also shared the emotional experience his wife had, who just dreamed about Vidi. "Yes, Vidi was singing while I was sitting backstage. He kept smiling, like that," he explained.

This year's Eid has also become a phase of adaptation for the family. Sheila's presence, who remains with the family, is one form of strength in maintaining the warmth that is left.
