Sheila Marcia and Dimas Akira Want to Separate Just Because of Emotions

Kapanlagi.com - Sheila Marcia and Dimas Akira admitted that their marriage was once on the verge of collapse. About two years ago, they almost separated due to momentary emotions and their high egos.

"Two years ago, yes, almost two years ago, that's right. If you say it broke up, it might just be because of emotions, but in the end, that day we couldn't handle it," said Sheila Marcia in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, Wednesday (5/3/2025).

"It was just something that was said, and it turned out to be very painful, and we realized that we both love each other, so we came back stronger," she added.

Dimas added that the trigger was their busy work schedules that made it hard for them to spend time with family. When he came home from work tired, his emotions carried over.

"Being selfish towards each other, I also worked a lot outside, so there was rarely time with family. Already tired from work, and with high egos as well. For example, when I come home from work, I'm tired, and I bring that emotion home with me," explained Dimas.

1. Separated for a Week

Sheila revealed that they were separated for a week. However, the situation became more difficult because at that time she was filming for three months, making communication harder.

"Still. The distance was because I was filming for three months. So, it was just when there was a misunderstanding, I was far away, wow it just got more chaotic. But if God does not will it," said Sheila.

Although family members intervened, Sheila emphasized that the decision to stay together was a result of their own awareness. Now, their relationship is actually stronger and more understanding of each other.

"No, it’s just the two of us. Some family members were involved, but everything was restored by God, it’s amazing, along with the kids too. In fact, we understand each other more now," she said.

Dimas now always tries to accompany Sheila when she works out of town to maintain their relationship. Sheila also admits that she is increasingly aware of the meaning of her partner's presence in her life.

"That's why when he is filming, I get invited. Like yesterday, he just finished filming, only a week in Jogja, so I just accompanied him on location," explained Dimas.

"So I realize that he is me and vice versa. So if I hurt him, I hurt myself and vice versa," concluded Sheila.
