At this location, the Central Kalimantan BKSDA team has been extinguishing the fire for eight consecutive days. The fire was extinguished for two days, but reignited due to the many embers still stored beneath the surface of the peatland.

In one of her posts, Sherina explained the rewetting process in the White Shark area. She described the hard work of the team in the field as essential to prevent the embers from reigniting into flames. The extinguishing process is carried out until there is truly no smoke coming from beneath the surface of the ground.

Sherina also spent time in the Rawi Hill area. She helped extinguish the embers, which was exhausting due to the thick smoke. The conditions at that time made visibility very limited during the extinguishing process.

The funds raised will be used for the procurement of firefighting equipment and personal protective equipment, as well as for mobilization and logistical needs. The allocation also includes patrol activities, monitoring, and the creation of firebreaks.

In addition, support is channeled for the handling, care, rehabilitation, evacuation, and relocation of wildlife affected by the fires. All needs are directed towards field activities that are directly related to firefighting and recovery.
