Sitha Marino and the 'MANTRA SURUGANA' Film Crew Experience Mystical Occurrences on Set

Like most actors who play in horror films, Bastian Steel's lover also admitted to experiencing strange things during the filming process.

"Yes, I often feel disturbed, when we were doing a workshop, suddenly the lights went out," said Sitha Marino at Gandaria City, Jakarta, on Tuesday (20/6/2023).

1. Strange Occurrences During Filming

Not only Sitha Marino, but also her friends and the film crew involved experienced similar strange occurrences during the filming process.

Even producer Ervina Isleyen experienced possession. She unconsciously drank hot coffee in one gulp.

"Even though I don't drink bitter coffee. That's what people saw, I asked for coffee and drank it while it was still hot," said Ervina.

2. Haunted Location

The filming location for the movie MANTRA SURUGANA, according to Ervina, is famously haunted. The location was once used as a filming location for a horror movie a few years ago.

"The location is in Ciloto, and it was also used as a filming location for a horror movie. Many people are afraid to shoot at our location," said Ervina.

MANTRA SURUGANA is a horror genre film that will be released in theaters starting on July 27, 2023.

3. Horror Theme from Pasundan Land

This film by director Dyan Sunu Prastowo raises the horror theme from Pasundan land, telling the rise of a demon figure through mantras and curses that haunt Tantri (Sitha Marino).

Those mantras and curses awaken the demon Surugana who demands human sacrifices.
