Sparkgirls, Release Debut Single in Two Countries

Kapanlagi.com - The music industry in Indonesia has a new girl group. They are Sparkgirls, a girl group from Bandung, with 7 members who have excellent dance and vocal abilities.

They are Rou, Dewi, Putsen, Reva, Monick, Nana, and Khayla. All seven of these women are from Bandung.

Sparkgirls was formed on November 7, 2021 by Spark Entertainment music management, consisting of Firman Ari Kurniawan as Producer, Novvy Novelly as Beauty Director, Irwan Petet as Music Director, Sendi Kahat as Visual Designer & Photography Director, Derrykeyz as Cinematographer, and Andee Larion as Stage Act Director & Choreographer.

As a marker of Sparkgirls' birth, this girl band launched their debut work titled Bloody Love on March 10, 2022 in two countries, Indonesia and Malaysia, under the auspices of FMC Sdn Bhd label.

2. Telling About Restlessness

Bloody Love is a song that tells about the restlessness of women due to the increasingly shallow definition of love in today's era.

"Which means that behind the femininity and gentleness of women, there are tough, strong, and self-respecting souls," said Rou.

3. Already Past Time

"Now it's already past time where a woman's heart can no longer be won over with wealth, power, let alone cheesy pick-up lines, because they can achieve it all with their own hands. So through this song, we want to remind men that it's not enough to just sweet talk, offer wealth or power to win our hearts, but there are better ways to do it," added Dewi.

4. Embracing Dancing Music

Sparkgirls embrace the color of music and entertaining dancing. With this concept, Sparkgirls are confident and optimistic that their new single can compete with other music genres.

"We hope that our song can be well received by listeners of all backgrounds. We have a vision of building trust which may be difficult, but not for us, because we believe that trust arises when we speak honestly just like with Music," said Rou, supported by other members.
