Cantika Abigail is preparing for her singing rehearsal with great enthusiasm for the day of the performance.

In this event organized by iForte and BCA, Cantika will sing several regional and national songs, including Aku Papua, Hela Rotane, and Indonesia Raya. 

This singer of Ambon descent feels challenged to perform these songs. Besides having to sing melodiously, Cantika also has to change into several traditional costumes throughout her upcoming performance.

"The song that I think is difficult is Hela Rotane because the choreography is quite different from other songs that I sing. Plus, I have to accurately portray this song from Maluku. Maybe it's also because there's a sentimental element that my mother is of Ambonese descent. But I will still strive to perform at my best in the upcoming Sabang Merauke Performance 'Pahlawan Nusantara'," said the owner of the single Start Over.

Meanwhile, renowned composer Dian HP, who serves as the music director in the performance, will create a magnificent and harmonious music together with Ammir Gita's son, the founder of Batavia Madrigal Singers Avip Priatna, traditional music arranger Dunung Basuki, and Meidy Ratnasari.

"Sabang Merauke 'Pahlawan Nusantara' performance is a grand show that should be witnessed by the Indonesian people. Because we can explore the culture of the homeland through a well-packaged performance that involves various collaborations ranging from dance, music, costumes, to stage performances. In terms of music, we will present a harmonious and rich composition by combining traditional and modern music," said Dian Hadipranowo.

The 'Sabang Merauke Pahlawan Nusantara' performance is also enlivened by the golden-voiced singers Isyana Sarasvati, Swain Mahisa, Alsant Nababan, Taufan Purbo, Mirabeth Sonia, Christine Tambunan, Nino Prabowo, Yuyun Arfah, and Gabriel Harvianto.

In addition to the musicians and singers, more than 200 regional dancers who are involved in the 'Sabang Merauke Pahlawan Nusantara' performance have undergone training sessions for approximately one month in Yogyakarta in order to give their best performance.
