Successful Operation, Thalita Latief Tells the Story of a Tumor the Size of a Meatball that Once Lived in Her Body

Kapanlagi.com - In early March, Thalita Latief came with surprising news. The 31-year-old woman was known to be suffering from stage 4 thyroid tumor. After that, she underwent surgery to remove the tumor.

Investigation revealed that Thalita's surgery went smoothly. The wife of Dennis Rizky is now seen healthy and able to resume her activities as before.

"Alhamdulillah, as you can see, thank you for your prayers, friends' support. After a month and a half, I can finally stand here, God willing," said Thalita when met at Trans TV building, South Jakarta, Tuesday (14/4/2020).

1. Large Lump of Meatballs

Previously, Thalita had never revealed the details of the tumor she had. This time, she explained that the tumor was quite large in size. Although she did not feel any symptoms of pain, the tumor still caused significant discomfort, especially when Thalita was eating.

"Because there was a lump, maybe as big as a meatball, bigger than a marble. But it goes up and down, it doesn't stay in one place, when we eat it goes up and down, or when swallowing, it goes up and down. But if you look closely, sometimes you can see it and sometimes you can't," Thalita explained.

Initially, Thalita did not expect that the lump was a dangerous tumor, considering she did not feel any symptoms. Fortunately, she immediately had it checked and underwent surgery to remove it before it was too late.

At the end of last year, in 2019, when I was on vacation, I noticed that it was getting bigger, even though it had been a few months, but I ignored it. Because it was like that, there were no symptoms in my body, but when I found out, it turned out that it was no longer in the early stage. So that's where we are reminded by Allah that what we have right now is only entrusted to us. So I am more grateful, I enjoy it more. Now, every moment, whatever it is, I really savor and give thanks. I don't want to waste time, especially with my family," she concluded.
