The case of the assault on Zaskia Adya Mecca's employee named Faisal has recently seen significant developments. The assault was carried out by a member of the TNI while escorting Zaskia's daughter, Kala, to school. Undeterred despite being threatened as an 'officer', the superior of the suspect even called directly to apologize.

The incident of the assault on Zaskia Adya Mecca's employee has recently sparked public outrage, and an official report has been made by Faisal to the authorities. Zaskia's family is fully supportive of this matter.

In its development, Zaskia's side was even contacted by the perpetrator's superior to apologize; however, the legal process will continue as planned.

"Two superiors of the suspect N, (a TNI member who assaulted Faisal along with Kala) have contacted us to apologize, also wanting to establish good relations and ensure that the legal process will be monitored and proceed as it should," said Zaskia in her statement post.

"Alhamdulillah there was no request for a simple peace and to stop there, but they promised to impose punishment and sanctions in accordance with the law. Currently, N is being held at Pomdam Jaya, already handed over from his unit to the Military Police," Zaskia continued.

"Honestly, seeing all of this, I actually feel concerned when I learn that there have been several similar cases before this, and the commanders up to the generals had to come down to apologize for their members' behavior towards the community," she stated.

"Come on guys, aren't you ashamed that just for a moment's ego you hurt others and then make the leadership apologize and the institution bear the risk of a bad reputation due to that behavior," she emphasized in the post's caption.
