Syakir Daulay Counter-sued Pro Active for Rp 500 Billion in Defamation Allegations

Kapanlagi.com - The lawsuit filed by Syakir Daulay against Pro Active is still ongoing at the South Jakarta District Court. However, Pro Active has now filed a counter-lawsuit for defamation allegations made by Syakir Daulay against Sugiyanto, the owner of Pro Active.

In their lawsuit, Pro Active is seeking compensation of Rp 500 billion. Although this amount may seem very large, Pro Active believes it is justified.

"Now there is a new lawsuit for compensation and reputation rehabilitation filed by the plaintiff. In this case, the plaintiff is Mr. Sugianto, and the defendant is Syakir Daulay," said Abdul Fakhridz Al-Donggowi at the South Jakarta District Court on Tuesday (8/9).

1. Charged to Heirs

Not stopping there, Pro Activ also asked Syakir to agree to the amount. If he feels objectionable, then they will ask the Judge to charge it to the respective heirs.

"We demand compensation of 500 billion, for Syakir to fulfill and if it cannot be fulfilled by Syakir during his lifetime, we ask the Judge to charge it to his heirs," he added.

2. Feeling Defamed

From the information gathered, the defamation is allegedly done by Syakir Daulay in public. Pro Activ feels aggrieved because Syakir is considered to have defamed Sugianto by claiming that he hijacked the Youtube account and stole Syakir Daulay's songs.

"In fact, there was a sale and purchase of YouTube channel accounts, there was a collaboration for content filling, that's what we question. The second is related to the accusation that Mr. Sugiyanto never paid Syakir 15 percent royalties," he said.

In addition, Pro Active also requested the judge to punish Syakir Daulay to apologize and clarify in front of the media.
