This season will adapt the arcs "Itadori's Extermination," "Perfect Preparation," and "Culling Game" from the manga, centered around a deadly game set by Kenjaku (Noritoshi Kamo) aimed at freeing Satoru Gojo from the Prison Realm. A compilation film titled "Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution," which includes the first two episodes of "Culling Game Part 1," premiered in Japanese theaters on November 7, 2025.

1. Synopsis of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 1 Episode 4: "Curse Womb Must Die"

Episode 4 of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 1, titled "Curse Womb Must Die," marks an important turning point that introduces the true level of danger in the Jujutsu world. This episode tests the limits of Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, and Nobara Kugisaki's abilities, as well as providing an early glimpse of the terrifying powers they face.

The mission begins when Yuji, Megumi, and Nobara are sent to a juvenile detention center that has been quarantined under the pretext of a gas leak. However, in reality, the place is haunted by a Cursed Womb that has the potential to turn into a Special Grade Cursed Spirit, equivalent to the power of Satoru Gojo. Assistant Director Kiyotaka Ijichi gives strict instructions: if they encounter a Special Grade Curse, they must flee or die, with the main mission being to rescue the five detainees still inside.

Upon entering the building, the trio discovers that the interior has been horrifyingly distorted by curses, creating an Innate Domain that alters reality. The entrance disappears behind them, and they soon find three mutilated corpses of detainees, one of whom is the son of a mother crying outside. Yuji, who wants to retrieve the bodies, clashes with Megumi, who argues that they should prioritize searching for the other detainees.

In the midst of the debate, Nobara is suddenly pulled down through the floor by a curse. The Special Grade Cursed Spirit, known as the Finger Bearer, appears before Yuji and Megumi. Yuji immediately attacks, but his arm is severed in an instant, showcasing the incredible power of the curse.

In desperation, Yuji calls for Sukuna's help, but Sukuna threatens to kill his friends if he takes over. Yuji then makes a difficult decision: he asks Megumi to escape with Nobara while he will hold off the curse and allow Sukuna to take over to fight it. Megumi reluctantly complies, taking the injured Nobara out of danger.

After Megumi and Nobara manage to escape, Yuji lets Sukuna take over his body. Sukuna, feeling annoyed at being underestimated, quickly defeats the Special Grade Cursed Spirit, tearing off its arm and inadvertently healing Yuji's severed arm in the process. Sukuna then uses his Domain Expansion, a technique that manifests a dimensional temple to slice through curses, and takes one of its fingers hidden within the cursed body.
