Tamara Tyasmara Admits to Experiencing Physical Violence from Yudha Arfandi, Beaten, Punched, Until Her Eardrum Burst

Kapanlagi.com - Tamara Tyasmara testified in the ongoing trial regarding the death of her son, Raden Andante Khalif Pramudityo or Dante, against the accused Yudha Arfandi at the East Jakarta District Court on Monday (29/7/2024).

In the session, Tamara openly recounted the suffering she endured while with the accused Yudha Arfandi. Tamara Tyasmara admitted that she often became a victim of physical violence perpetrated by Yudha Arfandi.

"It started off well until physical violence began in July 2022," said Tamara in the courtroom.

1. Eardrum Rupture

Tamara even admitted that she experienced violence so often that her eardrum ruptured. "I experienced it so often that I forgot about the physical violence until my eardrum ruptured," said Tamara Tyasmara.

In her testimony, Tamara elaborated on the forms of violence she experienced. "I was hit, punched, slapped, stepped on in the car with bare hands," she said.

Tamara then confessed that due to Yudha Arfandi's treatment, her eardrum was torn. She also recounted how Yudha often threatened her every time she tried to end the relationship.

"That's what caused my eardrum to tear. If I break up, I'm threatened, I'm scared. I keep breaking up and getting back together," concluded Tamara.

2. Examine 6 Witnesses

In today's hearing, a total of 6 witnesses were examined. Besides Tamara Tyasmara, there were also Angger Dimas, Tamara's mother, Ristya Aryuni, and several others.

For your information, the first hearing of the case regarding Dante's death with the defendant Yudha Arfandi began on June 27, 2024. Dante passed away on January 27, 2024, in a swimming pool in the Duren Sawit area of East Jakarta.

Yudha was reported by the police to have submerged Dante 12 times in a pool that was 1.5 meters deep, but Yudha claimed he did it for breathing exercise practice. Yudha Arfandi is charged under Article 80, Article 340 of the Penal Code and/or Article 338 of the Penal Code and/or Article 359 of the Penal Code with a potential life sentence.
