Aaliyah's mother, Reza Artamevia, expressed her happiness about her daughter's marriage. According to Reza, Thariq is a humble and hard-working person.

"Alhamdulillah, from the moment we met, we were close right away. He is very humble, down-to-earth. He shared his life story. I was immediately happy, I liked him," said Reza at Raffles Hotel, South Jakarta, Thursday (26/7/2024).

Reza also added that Thariq is a tenacious figure who starts everything from scratch.

"He is a tenacious person, a hard worker. He does everything from scratch. I seem to sincerely accept my son with him, his faith is also good," said Reza.

The moment of the ritual prostration after the marriage contract ceremony became very emotional for Reza. He entrusted a message to Thariq to always take care of Aaliyah, who is now his wife. "Earlier during the prostration, I said now mother has a son. Now the responsibility has shifted from mother to Thariq," said Reza with teary eyes.

The marriage contract ceremony went smoothly and was full of solemnity. Reza felt very grateful for the smoothness of the event. He also expressed his gratitude to all parties who have supported Aaliyah since she was a child until she became Thariq's wife.

"I am grateful, extremely happy of course. It is difficult to express in words. I would like to thank everyone involved and the media friends who have always supported from the time my children were born until they got married," he concluded.
