Luna Maya Does Not Mind the Scene Between Maxime Bouttier and Queen Sofya in the Film 'GUNDIK'

Kapanlagi.com - Luna Maya gave a positive response regarding her boyfriend, Maxime Bouttier, who will play a character as a husband with Safira Ratu Sofya as his wife in a horror film titled GUNDIK. In her statement, Luna admitted that she did not forbid Maxime from performing that scene, even though initially she did not know who would play Maxime's co-star.

When speaking in the Manggarai area, South Jakarta, Luna explained that she had known about this since she first read the script. However, she only found out that Ratu Sofya was the actress playing Maxime's wife character during the first reading session.

1. No Need to Ask for Permission

Luna emphasized that in terms of work, they do not need to ask each other for permission.

"In work matters, we don’t need to ask for permission. I just go for it. Because I don’t like it when professionalism is disturbed by personal matters like that," Luna Maya explained as quoted by KapanLagi.com via Okezone.

2. Supporting Each Other

Luna also stressed the importance of freedom in pursuing a career in the acting world, both for herself and Maxime, so she supports her partner's decisions without anxiety.

"It’s a job because we are both in acting, and since I want to be free in my work too, when I have a partner in acting, I don’t need permission," she added.

3. Maxime and Ratu Sofya

Even though they are a couple in real life, in the film GUNDIK, there is a romantic scene between Maxime and young actress Ratu Sofya.

"Just because we are in a relationship in real life, it doesn’t mean we are paired up in the film. It’s not like that," said Luna at a press conference in Setiabudi, South Jakarta, on Thursday (18/7/2024).

4. Not the First Time

With this open attitude, Luna demonstrates her commitment to professionalism in the entertainment industry. This is not the first project for Maxime and Luna Maya.

"Our work is the same, so to be in one project, which has also happened before, the possibility is very high. I'm not surprised by one film," said Luna.
