Tasya Farasya Holds Evidence of Ahmad Assegaf's Embezzlement, Denies Rp35 Billion Has Been Returned

"Here we want to clarify that up to this moment, until now, until today, not a single cent of money has ever been returned. Neither to our clients nor through us as their advocates, it has never happened," emphasized Sangun Ragahdo at a press conference in Jakarta, Thursday (27/11).

Furthermore, Ragahdo revealed that the amount of money suspected to be embezzled or problematic is far greater than the figures circulating in rumors. If the rumors mention an amount below Rp 10 billion, the evidence held by Tasya's side shows a much more fantastic amount.

"As for the evidence we hold, the amount of money we suspect to be involved in this embezzlement crime is not less than 35 billion Rupiah. It could even be more. If we dig deeper, the evidence we have is very strong, we are very confident," explained Sangun Ragahdo.

Tasya Farasya's legal counsel also regrets the attitude of the opposing party, which is considered to lack good faith. A meeting that took place a few weeks ago to seek a peaceful solution turned out to be fruitless, instead, news of an appeal and rumors of a refund that do not match the facts emerged.

"Not at all, until now there hasn't been a single cent. Let alone under 10 million, not even 100 million has ever been returned, not even 50 million has been returned," added Ragahdo.

Mohammad Fattah Riphat added that evidence related to the flow of funds has been collected, including the results of the audit of the house construction and company finances. 

Tasya Farasya's side is ready if this issue needs to be taken to the criminal law realm if necessary.

"So if we feel that we have gathered the evidence, the audit results are all there. The audit of the house construction, how the condition of the house is after being audited. The finances of the company. Right, so all the other finances have been audited and the results are clear, everything is clear like that," concluded Mohammad Fattah Riphat.
