Muhammad Thariq Halilintar and Aaliyah Annisa Jeffar Massaid finally visited the General Criminal Investigation Directorate of the Metro Jaya Police. This couple responded to the investigators' summons regarding the alleged fraud case involving Hanania Travel umrah pilgrims.

"This is for an examination, and giving a statement now seems unwise, let's see first, this is a police summons from them, let's convey what needs to be conveyed first, I will definitely give a statement to you," said Sangun Ragahdo Yosodiningrat when met at the Metro Jaya Police, South Jakarta, Tuesday (9/6/2026).

The case that implicated their names began when Hanania Travel failed to send thousands of pilgrims to the Holy Land. The public loss in this matter reached tens of billions of rupiah due to alleged embezzlement of funds.

Thariq, who is now 25 years old, and Aaliyah once used private umrah services from the travel agency. They also shared moments of their worship as a form of promotion or endorsement on their personal social media.

The police have named Ahmad Syah Farhan, the CEO of Hanania Group, as the main suspect in this case. The suspect is currently in custody on charges of fraud and money laundering that have harmed many parties.

Thariq and Aaliyah's group arrived at the police headquarters around 11:00 AM WIB to provide additional statements to the investigative team. Sangun Ragahdo, as the legal counsel, accompanied his client to ensure that the entire examination process followed legal procedures.

"I brought evidence, but rather than there being any confusion later, I will show it," he said.

The arrival of the late Adjie Massaid's 22-year-old daughter immediately drew the attention of the media. Aaliyah Massaid appeared very calm while accompanying her boyfriend into the interrogation room of the Criminal Investigation Directorate.

Investigators are currently examining the possibility of funds from congregants flowing into the pockets of celebrities as promotional costs. The police have scheduled summons for several other influencers who have previously collaborated with the problematic travel agency."I am here as a witness," said Thariq.
