He often requests scenes randomly and out of order, according to the "editing" visualization that is already in his mind.

Rangga Nattra, who plays Edo, describes how challenging this method was in the early days of shooting. The actors are required to always be ready with peak emotions whenever needed.
"Usually when we shoot, the emotions are linear," he said at MD Place, Kuningan, South Jakarta, Monday (20/10/2025).

"If he has already edited his shot needs, suddenly he requests, 'I want this shot, just your eyes.' So our emotions are already here."
This 'jumping' method initially made the actors work extra hard to maintain their emotional consistency.

"So we were a bit, I was a bit, it was a bit difficult to adjust at first," Rangga continued.
However, as time went on, they actually found comfort in this method. The process that initially felt strange turned out to make shooting much more efficient and faster.
Rafly Altama, who plays Sadam, added that after getting through the first few days, they started to get used to it and actually felt more comfortable.
"By the second and third day, it was already comfortable, already adjusted, right?" Rafly added.
This experience became a valuable lesson for the actors. They not only learned about new acting techniques but also about how a mature director's vision can create a very effective and revolutionary work system.
