The Case of Embezzlement of 1.3 Billion Belonging to Fuji Will Soon Be Tried, Family Will Monitor the Trial

Kapanlagi.com - Fujianti Utami can breathe a little easier regarding her issue concerning the embezzlement case committed by her former manager, Batara Ageng. This is because the case that Fuji reported to the West Jakarta Metro Police with allegations of embezzlement has been transferred to the prosecutor's office.

This was conveyed by Sandy Arifin, Fuji's legal counsel. Currently, Sandy stated that he is waiting for confirmation from the Public Prosecutor (JPU) regarding the trial schedule.

"What is certain is that from our client, when there is an official summons for the trial process as a victim, God willing, they will be present along with the witnesses," said Sandy at the South Jakarta Religious Court, Tuesday (3/9/2024).

The family also welcomes the developments in the case that has caused Fuji losses of up to Rp 1.3 billion. If the trial schedule is set, Haji Faisal and his family will attend to oversee the proceedings.

"So Mr. Haji also conveyed that even if he is not called as a witness, he will still be present to support Fuji in the ongoing report for the judicial process," he said.

2. Trial Schedule Not Yet Known

Sandy admitted that he still does not know when the trial will be held. However, according to his estimate, the trial will take place soon.

"Maybe in about this month," he explained.

In addition, Sandy also does not know whether Batara is now a detainee of the prosecutor's office or not. When the case documents were handed over, his side was not present.

"I don't know because we were not present at the P21, but what is certain is that the trial will be announced further later," he concluded.
