The Covid-19 Pandemic is Not Over, Ibas Yudhoyono Distributes 3,000 Vitamin Packages

Realizing the needs of the people, Edhie Baskoro Yudhoyono (Ibas) handed over assistance on Sunday (29/8) in the form of vitamin packages. A total of 3,000 vitamin packages were handed over to be distributed evenly to five regencies, namely Pacitan, Trenggalek, Magetan, Ponorogo, and Ngawi.

When asked to give a brief virtual speech, Ibas expressed condolences for all the losses felt by the people in recent times.

“Some time ago, around July 2021, it can be said to be the peak of the surge in Covid-19 cases in the Jatim VII Electoral District. We are sad and mournful because there were quite a few victims due to the meniko outbreak. Not a few times we heard the sound of ambulances. Our phones were also busy receiving messages that our relatives and loved ones were called by the Almighty. Therefore, I invite all of us to pray for those who have preceded us to be accepted on the side of the Almighty God, Allah SWT. Husnul Khotimah, Allahumma Amin,” Ibas prayed.

Although the conditions have been difficult for the past two years, Ibas advised the people not to be divided. He also expressed that he will continue to strive to safeguard and distribute the assistance needed by the people.

"Mas Ibas understands and is concerned about the current situation. I, as a representative of the people, continue to search for the best solutions, including overseeing healthcare facilities. Our doctors and healthcare workers must continue to be taken care of. The availability of oxygen tanks, vitamins, and medications should also be improved, ensuring that they are fast, accurate, and affordable," said Ibas.

Ibas continued, expressing his hope that people can remain motivated and promptly register for the vaccination program.

"We must participate in the vaccination program as soon as it becomes available. I also continue to encourage the vaccination program to be implemented not only in cities but also in villages to create herd immunity," he added.

Regarding the assistance provided, Ibas explained that it was the result of collaboration with CSR PT Semen Indonesia.

"Together, today I, Edhie Baskoro Yudhoyono, Member of the Indonesian Parliament for East Java VII Electoral District from the Democratic Party Faction, distribute 3000 packages of vitamins in collaboration with CSR PT Semen Indonesia," he stated.

Ibas also acknowledged that relying solely on vitamins to strengthen the immune system is not enough. Therefore, he advised the public to maintain a balanced diet and adhere to health protocols.

"Various vitamins are needed to improve vitality and immune system. But that is not enough. I invite everyone to continue living a healthy and regular life." Yes, eat regularly, exercise regularly, sunbathe to get the best vitamin D, and of course, comply with health protocols,” he said.
